Appointment Instructions!
(please book your appointment first!)

Everything you need to know to prepare for an awesome piercing experience!

Sign & Send Your Release Forms 1 Day BEFORE Appointment (does not apply to jewelry shopping-only appointments)

Your release forms will arrive in your appointment confirmation email!

REMEMBER: Your release forms must be completed and sent no later than midnight, the day before your appointment. If you make a same-day appointment, please send your forms immediately so we can begin to prepare for your visit. These forms contain time sensitive questions, so please don’t send them earlier than requested! (if you’ve booked a same-day appointment, complete your waiver as soon as you receive your confirmation email, please)

If we do not receive them, your appointment may be canceled and you will forfeit your deposit. We don’t want that! We’d rather make you sparkly instead!

Prepare For Your Visit

Right now: Read over all of the information on this page and let us know if you have any questions at all! You can always reach us at info@immaculatepiercing.com

If you have any questions regarding your appointment, please text us! We are available Mon-Sat, from 11am-7pm at 803-814-3992. This is a text-only line and is the fastest way to contact us regarding your appointment.

The day before your appointment: Send in your release form so that we can get ready for your appointment the next day! Forms must be received the day before your appointment, no later than midnight. If you’ve scheduled a same-day appointment, be sure to complete your forms right away to help us prepare!

1-2 Hours Before your appointment: It’s almost time! Be sure to eat a meal, state regulations require that all piercing clients have eaten within 4 hours of their piercing… it might seem weird, but it actually helps to prevent low blood sugar and makes it less likely you might get dizzy or lightheaded… plus, food is tasty! Also remember to bring your ID (and any other documents you were required to upload) with you to the appointment.

BE SURE that you leave home in time to find parking near the studio! 5 Points parking can be hard to come by, especially on Fridays/Saturdays. Please plan to arrive in the area at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment so that you can find parking and arrive at the studio on time. If you are late, we will need to reschedule your appointment and you will be charged a cancellation/rescheduling fee to compensate staff for lost time and wages due to the last-minute schedule change.

When You Arrive

When you arrive, just pop into the studio lobby where our staff can assist you. Be sure to bring your ID with you (and for minors, any required additional documents).

Guests: You may bring one guest (18 or older) into the room w/ you during your appointment, additional guests will need to wait in the lobby. If the lobby becomes overcrowded, we may ask those who aren’t receiving a service to wait outside.

Please do not bring minor children to your appointment (unless the appointment is scheduled for them), they will not be able to enter the piercing room with you and cannot be left unattended in the studio. Thanks!

Don’t forget your mask! (see below)

In The Studio

We have always had a focus on safety, but we have implemented stricter safety protocols to provide additional protection during the ongoing pandemic.

Have your mask on!: All clients are required to wear a mask during their entire visit. We know everyone is tired of masks, but piercing requires extended close contact and we love to keep our staff & their families (and you!) healthy and safe! The mask must cover your nose and mouth completely and should be left in place and not touched during your visit. Please have your mask on when you come to the door. :) We truly appreciate your cooperation with this.

No one will be allowed to enter the studio without a mask on, no exceptions.

Clean hands: When you enter the studio, feel free to use the hand sanitizer station before having a seat.

Keeping you safe: The piercing room and waiting area are disinfected regularly, so no one else’s cooties are lingering around waiting for you! We have a centrally installed ADP 70 air disinfecting unit, in addition to the use of HEPA filters, to ensure that the air in the studio is processed and filtered quickly and efficiently.

Our friendly and insightful staff will help you select jewelry for your piercing, answer any questions you have about the piercing or aftercare, sterilize the items for your piercing, and then direct you to the piercing room.

In the piercing room: This is the part of a piercing where social distancing isn’t possible, so we are doing everything possible to provide maximum protection for clients and staff. We have installed additional HEPA filters in the piercing room (and throughout the studio) to maximize airflow and rooms are left open when not in use to ensure further air exchange.

After your piercing, we will sign you out and let you enjoy the rest of your day… just a little more sparkly than before!
